Word Alignment Leads To World Alignment

Word

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Jesus is the word and His word and Him are one. Therefore when we align with His word we become one with Him and He one with us. He said abide in me and I will abide in you. He and the Father are one. The Holy Spirit dwells within us and makes us one with Him. Jesus prayer was that we would be one as He and His Father were one. This is the kind of unity we have in the Spirit. It is this unity in the Spirit that will enable us to turn the world around from its present state of chaos and disruption. All we see around us is a result of man going his own way and trying to control the planet. 

Jesus

God has made a way out for us. He sent His Son, Jesus, to reverse the course of sin. He cancelled the power of sin and redeemed man from being a slave to being a son. This is the kind of revolution we need to save the world from its self destructive path. All we see around us is death and destruction. We think we are progressive but in the name of progress we have surrendered our lives to the evil one. Evil in its many forms is infiltrating every section of our lives. We are under the control of the god of this world and he is hell bent on our destruction. The only way out is to be transformed by His living word.

Solution

His word is a light that will shine in our present darkness. In the midst of all the lies we have His word to guide us. His Spirit will empower His word and bring about the transformation we need. We will never be able to improve ourselves as we are bound by sin. We can dress up sin in nice ways but underneath the rot continues. Sin is like rotten eggs, it poisons the soul. The egg needs to be saved to become whole. The born again experience is a renewal of the spirit by the Holy Spirit. This will cause us to align ourselves with His word and bring about the alignment of the world. There is no other way by which man can be saved. The whole world is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God. This revelation will change the world.

Knowing God's Will And Doing It

Prayer

We pray many times that God's will be done. However this prayer maybe a cop out of knowing what God's will is! Knowing His will means we must know His mind on a certain matter. Is it God's will to heal? If the answer is yes then we must pray accordingly and see His will being manifested in healing. This will lead to a different kind of prayer to the one where we hope we get the right answer. One is a prayer by random and the other a prayer by target. Random prayers result in random answers. Targeted prayers result in targeted answers.

Answers

God has provided answers through His word. We can know His will through His written word and His Spirit. His Spirit opens up His word and reveals His mind to us. Just reading the word may not give us understanding of His word and will. To know His will is to know the mind of God. Jesus always consulted with His Father and only did what He saw and heard His Father doing. We can hear and see too if we seek His ways and not our way. Many times we are comfortable in doing things our way and only consult God when we are in trouble. God wants to partner with us and not just be a teller machine.

Attitude

We must begin to demand that our prayers be answered. We can only do this when we know God's will. God's will is that we preach the Good news, heal the sick and bring deliverance to the captive. There are no ifs about this. When we know His will we can pray aggressive prayers that will bring answers from His glory in heaven. God has only answers and not questions. All His questions were answered on the Cross when He cancelled the power of sin and the devil. We now have access to all the riches in glory through Jesus. This is what Jesus came to do through His death and resurrection. Now it is up to us to implement His will on earth and pull the answers down.

Truth Is Divisive. Yet Truth In Jesus Unites.

Truth

Truth has always been under attack. When Jesus faced Pilate He said "I am the Truth". Pilate responded by asking "what is truth"? So also today amid the plethora of fake news, truth is buried under it. Truth is in a person and His name is Jesus. Jesus came to reveal the truth and so He could say I am the truth. No one believed Him when He came and the same condition prevails today. We seek the truth but never seem to accept what is revealed. We keep searching for the truth though our finite mind. Truth appears to us but we ignore it to our peril. What is truth is ignored and we create truth in our own imagination. God revealed Himself to the nation of Israel but they chose to build an image of God to worship.

Fake

Man today too is building images to worship. God said you will have no images to worship. In direct rebellion we continue to build images of wealth, race, sex and other images that satisfy our own fallen desires. We worship the creation rather than the Creator. Truth therefore is ignored and is replaced by images of the truth. An image is not the original. It is just an image. Just like an idol of God is not God. Why do we do this? Man wants to be in control of his own destiny. We reject God and His ways because we were born in sin and continue to sin. There is only one way of escape and that is through Jesus.

Jesus

Man tries to calm his conscience through alternative ways but God has provided a way of escape. Those who find Him know He is the truth. There is no other way to please God but through His Son. Jesus was sent to deliver us from our sad state. However we choose to look to other ways of salvation. This is why many are called but few are chosen. Judas was called but not chosen. He allowed Satan to infiltrate his soul and betray His Saviour. We all could be a Judas if we 

do not hold on to His way to the end. Once saved always saved is a lie. The ten virgins all came prepared but only five went through because they were prepared and waiting till the end. Let us also pursue till the end and not lose heart and give up.

Your Tongue Is The Most Powerful Force On Earth

Tongue

God spoke and He created the world's. God has given man the same authority to create through his tongue. However through the Fall a curse came upon all creation. Now man has the power to bless or to curse. What we see in the world is the power of curses. Our tongue has been used by Satan to steal, kill and destroy. All the news broadcasts is news of the destructive power of the tongue. Man is constantly putting down his neighbour to profit. The agenda of media everywhere is to divide and rule. From governments to corporations to families the same applies. Our tongue is a great force and none can tame it.

Unity

God confused man with dividing tongues at the Tower of Babel. This was because man was getting too powerful as they were united in their one tongue. At Pentecost God touched our tongue and united us in the Spirit. God is in the business of unity and He gave us a way of escape. A man who can control his tongue can control his body. Like a rudder on a ship this small organ controls the whole body. Isaiah prayed that God with touch his tongue with coal of fire to cleanse it. Men have tried to cut off their tongue to stop it defiling them. Mutilating the body is man's way of trying to control his body. However God's way is through His Spirit.

Spirit

We need to surrender our tongue to God to help us speak His word. In the Spirit we can overcome all things. We can speak health to our body and our relationships. We can overcome battles that have been fought by just one word from the Spirit. Jesus spoke the healing word and the centurion's servant was healed at a distance. So powerful are words to transcend time and distance. So also our prayers in the Spirit have power to reverse the destructive forces on earth. We can bring heaven to earth through our anointed words. Today let us watch our words for they are a force to curse or to bless, to heal or to wound.

Walking In The Limitless Power Of God

God

God is all powerful and is the Creator and we are His creation. We think we have a lot of power but this power is matchless compared to God's power. He spoke and the world was created. All that we see was created by Him through His spoken word. Imagine how powerful were His words. Nothing could stand in the way of His word. We too can speak and see things change. This is why God has commanded us to be careful of what we say. Our words have the power to bless or to curse. What we hear around us can break us or build us up. In the world we hear a lot of negative words because the god of this world is Satan. Only we have authority on earth to reverse the words of the devil.

Words

God reversed our words at Pentecost. He gave us a new tongue. This is the tongue of the Spirit. When we pray in tongues we release God's power on earth as it is in heaven. We receive revelation in our mind of what God is thinking and saying. In this way we are able to think and speak like God. When we speak from the Spirit, we speak like God. This is how Jesus spoke. He had the authority of heaven behind Him when He spoke. Sickness and disease had to go as He spoke. The limitless power of God was behind His words. We too can do the same.

Authority

We can shift atmospheres as we speak from the Spirit. We have the tools to operate in the Spirit. We cannot move an inch without the power of God. In our own strength we will move a bit but in God's strength we will move mountains. God's limitless power is available to us when we come to the end of our power. This is why we need to operate in the Spirit to see the world turned upside down. The disciples were known to have done this and we can do the same. The same resurrection power is available to us who believe. Come let us walk in the resurrection power of Jesus and be done with walking in our own power.

Faith Is Clear Eyesight

Faith

Faith is trusting in what is unseen and believing what is impossible is possible. Those who come to God must believe that He is. No one can come to God without faith. There is an unseen world we can tap into if only we believe. However our mind will resist believing because it wants to see. As long as we want to see before we believe, will not enable us to walk by faith. The Israelites wanted to make God into an image that they could see to worship. God is not an image. We are an image of God. We have the faith to believe because we were created in His image. Now we need to trust Him to respond to our faith.

Eyesight

Faith is the ability to see beyond the physical. Abraham believed God and saw. We must believe before we can see. This is the challenge we face in our daily walk. Will we walk by faith or by sight? Thomas said he would believe once he saw Jesus alive from the dead. Jesus asked him do you now believe? Many have seen Him but then stop believing. We need spiritual eyes to see and believe. This is why faith is seeing beyond the seen realm. In our physical realm we can see and so believe. God operates in the unseen realm and so we need to believe to see.

Blindness

Spiritual blindness is real. This is why we need to pray that the blindness that clouds the eyes of the lost will be opened to see. Like the blind man in the Bible, sight will be restored. Many who opposed God now see and believe. Paul was blinded by his spiritual encounter but then saw once the scales dropped off. All that is seen will one day pass away but the word of God will remain. God is calling us today to trust Him and walk by faith and He will meet all our needs from His riches in heaven. The only way we can do this, is by faith.

Selfishness Produces Weeds. Love Produces Fruit.

Selfishness

God's answer to selfishness is love. We were born in sin and therefore  all we were concerned about was me, myself and I. We could not see beyond ourself because we were blind. Some of us have some awareness of this and try to move from the "I" position to the "We" position. However this takes a lot of energy and work to think of others when our primary needs are unmet. Most of us have gone through difficulties in our growing up years. These maybe from our parents, siblings or others. Trauma causes us to go into defensive living. We protect ourselves from getting abused and used. This is a common experience and many suffer from anxiety and depression due to this. However God has made a way of escape.

Answer

God knew we were helpless and could not save ourselves. He provided the answer through Jesus. He reversed the curse of sin and brought us into the light of His presence. He opened our eyes to see and experience the love of the Father. This love healed our wounds and brought us to a place of trust. We began to trust God to meet our needs. We moved from a focus on I to a focus on God and others. This shift brought about a change in our perceptions. We began to realise that there is more to living than just looking after our own needs. God gave His only begotten Son to die for us. This demonstrated God's love for us. 

Faith

Now we began the journey from a self centred life to a God centred life. We moved from a position of living according to the law, to living by faith. This is a shift that enables us to tap into the supernatural power of God to meet our needs. We did not rely on our own resources but looked to God's supernatural resources in heaven. This shift has caused us to love others as we love ourselves. God did it for us and will continue to work through us. We see the fruit of the lives that have committed their lives to God. I am no where the man I was because of His great love. Without Him I am nothing. With Him I have a purpose and meaning for living life to the full. I am called to serve others and this is my joy and blessing.

All That We Lost Through The Fall Was Reversed At Calvary

Fall

When Adam and Eve fell in the garden of Eden all creation was affected by the Fall. Now we can blame them for what happened but the same might have happened to us when tempted by the devil. God had provided a way of escape but the temptation was too great to prevent them from eating of the tree of good and evil. Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world and came to fulfil this plan on earth. The devil thought he had won but God reversed the curse on the Cross. Few of us appreciate this great reversal. We continue to live as if we are still bound. God set us free from the curse two thousand years ago. Yet we continue to choose to eat from the tree of good and evil.

Calvary

At Calvary all my sins were cancelled. All my diseases were healed. I was restored to my original sate. The Bible says we are a new creation in Him. The old is past and the new has come. This is the revelation we need to live that abundant life here on earth. We will continue to face temptation but God has provided a way of escape. Eat from the tree of life and live. The tree of life is Jesus.  We are grafted into Him and now we can live through Him. There is no other way to live His life on earth but through His Spirit who lives in us. What a wonderful plan of redemption.

Salvation

When we partake of the communion remember the work on the Cross. This reversed all that was stolen from us. Now it is up to us to draw from the river of life and be made whole. There is no other healing balm available but through this sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. The devil was defeated once and for all and he is destined for hell fire. He knows it and we have to remind him of this. Till Jesus returns we have to reclaim all that was lost and restore His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. This is our assignment and calling wherever we maybe. Let us join hands and proclaim this victory for all to hear and be saved.
