Demonic Infiltration

The demonic has infiltrated every aspect of our lives. The seed of the serpent was impregnated through the Fall and ever since then mankind has come under the influence of the god of this world. God saw the results of the Fall and just like in the days of Noah so we are seeing the same effects now. We have lost our fear of God and have become gods in our own eyes. This was what happened to Lucifer before his fall. Pride took over him and he wanted to be god. So the history of mankind has followed in the path of the Fall.

Genetic Code

Our genetic code has been modified through the ages and we see the effects of it in sickness and disease. Now man is trying to modify our genes to make us even more vulnerable through various mutations. God destroyed the hybrid population as the world was populated by a hybrid race and lost the original creation that God created. God created man in His own image but through demonic infiltration all creation fell into sin. God preserved Noah and his family to continue the original creation but we see  that Satan has continued to infiltrate and destroy His creation.

Resurrection Power

Now Jesus sacrifice is the only solution to reverse this downward trend. His blood possesses the resurrection power to reverse all disorder and disease. His blood is sufficient to cleanse and to cure through the cleansing power from heaven. This is the only solution to a sin soaked generation. The Gospel of Good News is as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago. There is no other way to be redeemed from the curse. His blood is sufficient for now and forever to everyone who believes. Let His blood now cleanse you from all sin and see its effects being manifested in your body and soul today.

Sexualisation Of Relationships

We live in a broken world. We are bombarded by sexual images through the media as it is very seductive and gets our attention. This is a strategy the devil uses to corrupt our relationships. He entices us to sin and spoils everything. His main mission is to steal, kill and destroy. God has warned us through the book of Proverbs the dangers of being seduced into the devil's snare. Yet we continue to be led astray to forbidden areas to our own peril. Many start their walk well but end up making compromises and end in a heap. This is what we see happening in the church and in the world. We think we can manage dangerous relationships but fool ourselves.

Sexualisation

Sexualisation of relationships is a everyday problem for many. We start well but soon find ourselves sexualising our relationships especially with the opposite sex. This happens in all ages and between sexes. Why do we do this? This is how what began in the spirit now has become fleshly. Good relationships when sexualised soon become corrupted. Watch out for this happening in your relationships. This is why we need to draw firm boundaries around our relationships. Boundaries like laws are there to keep us from harm. Transgress them to our peril.

Guidelines

God has given us guidelines to help us in our walk. We cannot have one leg in the world and the other in the spirit. The flesh is against the spirit. The sooner we recognise this the easier it will be to keep within our boundaries. Discretion is wise in certain relationships. Marriage is out of bounds for outsiders. Marriage is a covenant and any entertainment of others will pollute it. Even parents need to be kept out. Many marriages break down because of parental interference. So also any one else who is part of a marriage and that includes children will destroy the marriage. Beware of boundary incursions and keep your relationships pure.

Word Alignment Is Life

God's word is the plumb line He has given us to live by. His word is not just a letter but living to enable us to live by what it says. God's said word becomes His saying word when we believe it and receive it. Replace each word with the Name of Jesus and see transformation come into your life. His word is powerful and spiritual. His word became flesh and dwelt amongst men. God and His word are one. God's said word transformed into flesh so that we may see and believe. No one has seen God and therefore He sent Jesus in the form of man. Now we have seen God in Jesus and can relate to Him. His words are in alignment with His personality. When we know Him we become like Him. His word is our template in knowing Him.

Comforter

God has not left us helpless but has sent us a Comforter who will lead us into all truth. His truth is aligned with His word. Therefore when we align ourselves with His word, we walk in obedience. When He said "Love your enemies" He meant it is possible to do so. We can only do this through the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. Many words written in the Beatitudes appear impossible to live by. However they can only be accomplished through a renewed mind. Jesus set the example and knew it was impossible for man but possible for the renewed man. 

We are called to follow Him. This means we have to say and do what He said and did. We have to surrender all to Him and live by His Spirit. His Spirit lives in us who believe in Him. Now He lives through us as we allow Him to. There is nothing impossible in God. God wants to restore us to the way it was in the garden of Eden before the Fall. Will we choose to follow Him?

Understanding Through The Holy Spirit

We can read scripture and understand it through our mind or through the Holy Spirit. We can operate through our mind or through the Holy Spirit. Jesus said He would send another to replace Him. He would live in us and teach and guide us. When we enter into the realm of the Spirit we enter a new dimension of operation. Jesus did not leave us alone. The only way we can connect to the heavenly realm is through the Holy Spirit. Every other way is a man made way. This revelation came to me as I began to see how sub standard my walk has been so far. To walk in the Holy Spirit is to walk in total surrender. I am just a vehicle to enable Him to speak and work through me. This so different from the way I was trained to operate by.

Holy Spirit

Walking in the Holy Spirit is a new dimension of living. It is like how Jesus lived on earth. He was full of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus. How could we ever walk like Jesus without His Holy Spirit? We fool ourselves in thinking we can imitate Him by our own effort. This is a delusion. We need the Holy Spirit to live like Jesus. This challenges my mind as it goes against what I have been trained to do. Now living in the Holy Spirit is easy when I surrender all to Him. He takes over and manifests Himself through me. My understanding grows and I see things in a new way. Love has a new meaning.

Insight

When I read the scripture through the eyes of the Holy Spirit my understanding becomes new. I no longer try to understand with my mind which is limited. I process things through the Holy Spirit.  What I thought I understood before becomes like stale bread. I now taste of the living bread which is fresh and new. My walk and talk is like walking in heaven. My life becomes empowered by the Holy Spirit. What appeared impossible becomes possible. This is what it means to live a heavenly life on earth. I see beyond the natural into the supernatural. My soul and body are revived and renewed and I can expect anything as heaven comes down to earth.

Holy Spirit, Human Spirit And Soul

God is Spirit and He created man in His own image, a spirit being. However through the Fall man lost his ability to commune with God and so created god in his own image. This longing for God is there in all creation. Many are unaware that this hole in their being is due to a loss of connection with God. Therefore man is in search for an answer and God provided the answer. His answer is found in Jesus. Connection with Father God is restored through Jesus. The Holy Spirit was sent to inhabit the spirit of man. The spirit of man was reborn through the new birth in Christ. 

Spirit of man

The spirit of man although born again still is limited in our body. It is affected by the body and the soul. The soul of man is the conscious part of man that thinks, feels and wills to do. Most of the time we operate in our soul. Our soul is limited in its capacity to know God because it lives in our body. It is only through our spirit that we are able to connect with God who is spirit. Now we have the Holy Spirit to help us in our communion with God. We can now operate in our human spirit or the Holy Spirit. Our spirit can lead us or the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us. This is a profound revelation. Now we can be led by the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit

Being led by the Holy Spirit is to walk like Jesus did. He only did what He saw and heard His Father doing. We too can be led by the Holy Spirit as He reveals His mind to us. Once we know the voice of God we will look to be led by Him. This is to live an abundant life here on earth in the Holy Spirit. No circumstance or restriction can rob us of the joy of this communion. We live in habitation and in this place nothing can take us away from Him. We live under the shelter of His wings. Let us be led by the Holy Spirit today and be united in bringing heaven to earth.

Heavenly Transference

We pray "Your will be done as it is in heaven". Do we really understand what this means? To pray His will be done on earth is to bring heaven down to earth. This is to build His Kingdom down here on earth. Is this even possible in a fallen world? Will the god of this world allow it? This is the war we are in down here as we implement His Kingdom values and will down here. There will be resistance but we have been given the authority to bind and to lose, to permit and refuse permission. When we do this we will see a shift in the atmosphere around us. God's glory will descend and all evil will be pushed back. The earth will rejoice  and all creation will benefit from His tangible presence. Jesus brought heaven down to earth when He descended from heaven. He brought healing, deliverance and light. We are called to do the same.

Total Submission

We must submit all to God and resist the devil. Total submission to God will push the forces of evil back. The devil cannot fight God and win. He thought he had won when they crucified Jesus. The devil suffered a death blow at the Cross. He was completely defeated when Jesus rose from the dead. Now we have to implement  the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. When we do this as a church we will move heaven to earth. One can do much but two can do more. Let us unite under the banner of Jesus and shift the atmosphere in our town, city and nation. This is possible when we believe and do what He says. The shift first happens in the spiritual realm and then in the earthly realm. God is waiting for His people to trust His word and obey.

Heavenly Invasion

I believe faith is rising in the nations and many are witnessing a fresh move of God. We must jump in and join the flow and see nations changed. Many are having heavenly visitations of angels and miraculous signs evidenced. These are all signs of His preparation of the church for the final return of the King. Let us not be weary but awake and hot for His return in glory.

Do Not Personalise Your Negative Thoughts

Thoughts come to you from various sources. They can come from within you or outside you. From outside they could be from the world, devil or God. Your senses can also lead to you having thoughts and so do your feelings. We need therefore to discern the source of our thoughts. When we are unaware of the source, we  will tend to personalise our thoughts. To personalise is to take  personal responsibility for those thoughts. When one does this guilt usually is the consequence of negative thoughts. This then becomes a cycle of negative thoughts, negative feelings and negative behaviours. Many are bound in this cycle and react in unhealthy ways. To make it worse any influence of drugs or alcohol will push one to suicide. This is the ultimate strategy of the devil to steal, kill and destroy.

Strategy

Always ask yourself what is the source of these thoughts. If they are from any source other than God, reject them immediately. This will then start you on the process of deliverance. Deliverance is not just to do with demons although demonic attachments can occur through negative thoughts. Anything negative is not from God. Feelings of pride, jealousy and envy are not of God. Negative behaviours are not of God although one can justify anger as being righteous. One can be assertive but not aggressive. This is the way to transform your mind. This is a process and it takes daily action to be transformed through the renewal of our mind. There is no easy path to sanctification but through this process of repentance, forgiveness and transformation. A caterpillar will have to shed its old skin before it can be a butterfly.

Solution

God has given us all the resources we need to be transformed. He has given us His own Holy Spirit to help us. He knew our helpless state and so planned to inhabit us through His Spirit. We now can depend on Him as our Counsellor and Guide to lead us on our way to freedom from negative thoughts and intents. Many mental health disorders begin with the entertainment of negative thoughts. Be set free from negative thoughts today and be led by the Holy Spirit.

In The Holy Spirit We Can Overcome All Things

God has given us His own Spirit so that we can live in His power than in ours. We can strive to be holy till we die or we can rest in His power. This is the difference between law and grace. One is a taskmaster and the other is the law of love. God so loved the world and He continues to do so especially for His elect. He has given us all the power we need to overcome. We live in a broken world and face many challenges. However we do not need to live below it but above it. We are seated in heavenly places with Christ. This is a mystery but this is the difference between living in the Holy Spirit and in our flesh.

Flesh

In our flesh we will continue to strive to be good enough. We are saved but we continue to walk according to our flesh. How can two work together if they are opposed? The Spirit is opposed to the flesh and the flesh is opposed to the Spirit. We therefore have to choose to live in the Spirit daily and walk by the Spirit. This is the only way to overcome the world and the flesh. God has made a way of escape and we have to choose His way. This comes down to our will. Will we surrender our will to His will? We do not have to seek to now His will because His will lives in us. 

Spirit

How marvellous it is to know that God has made a way of escape for us. Everything was planned before we were born. We think we know it all but till we come to the place of knowing nothing but God, we are still striving in our own strength. God has made it so easy for us to follow Him yet we make it difficult. His resurrection power is in us. What more power do we need to be over comers? Nothing but the blood of Jesus can save us.

I Believe 2023 Will Be A Glorious Year

I believe 2023 will be a glorious year. What does this mean? I am sure we have heard this spoken every year and nothing much has changed. Yet God's now word is true. He speaks His word and it will come to pass. Will we believe this? Many times we hear God's word but fail to believe it and so lose it. God's word must be believed and claimed. This is the difference between the talk and the walk. If I believe I must act on it. If I believe it will rain then I must go out with an umbrella. Noah believed and built the ark and was seen as a fool. Many step out in faith believing and see the results of their faith. The 5 virgins were prepared and went into the room. We must do the same.

Holy Spirit

I believe the Holy Spirit is moving around the world in ways never seen before. I hear reports from India and Iran of the move of God never heard of before. In my own spirit I feel an awakening that I have never experienced before. I am experiencing the release of gifts and answers to prayers at a speed never experienced before. Healing and deliverance and other manifestations of the Spirit are happening. So much more is to come as God moves in the hearts of people and the people respond in faith. Financial breakthrough and deliverance are two recent stories I have heard. I was healed of a stomach ailment after nine months of travail.

Miracles

Each miracle builds on the other. Faith grows and we enter the realm of the impossible. Words are spoken out in faith and are performed in the present. What a time we live in. It is as if we are entering into the days of Noah and there is no turning back. Evil is rising but so is the glory of God. As the darkness deepens the light gets brighter. I look forward to a glorious 2023 and I hope you do too.

Are You Operating Under Law Or Under Grace?

God gave us the law to help us know what is right and what is wrong for our good. When we live according to the law we are blessed and when we rebel we live under curse. However God also knew that because of sin we would be unable to fulfil the law. Therefore He sent His Son Jesus as a sacrifice to cancel the power of sin over us. We are now living under grace and the law does not have the power of sin to cause us to sin. This is the shift that occurred at Calvary. Now we can choose to continue to live under the law or under grace.

Law

The law is a slave driver. It demands us to keep it at any cost. When we fail it makes us guilty and no amount of confession seems to work to satisfy our conscience. Sin working through the law drives us to extreme ends and some have been pushed to suicide to satisfy its demands. Many still live under the law despite having experienced the new birth by grace through faith.  Our spirit was saved but our soul continues to be saved. This disconnect between our spirit and our soul is what causes a lot of confusion in us. Once we realise this we will become more determined to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. The flesh prefers to walk under the law than under grace.

Grace

Grace is a completely different mindset. Grace receives freely all that God has already prepared for us. We rest in His finished work on the Cross. He did it all for us and we can rest in His completed work. There is no more pressure to do like under the law. Grace enables us to fulfil the law without an internal struggle. What a difference in our walk when we surrender all to the Spirit and allow Him to lead us and guide us. Let us pursue to live our lives under grace and not get back to serving our old master.

We Reflect On To Others Who We are, Like A Mirror.

Reflections are subconscious projections of our inner self on to others. Just like a mirror we see our reflections in others. If we have a suspicious mind then we see others as suspicious and evil. We react to them as such and are unaware of our own contribution to the same. Our mind defends itself by blaming others than look at how we have misperceived the other. This is so destructive a transaction that many are swept into situations of intractable conflict for years. Negative emotions are aroused and justified in the name of justice. What deception clouds our relationships because of this phenomena. Insight into this dilemma will free many from a chronic condition of disorder to order.

Projections

Projections are unconscious because they reflect a deep template which has been laid down from early years of programming. When a child is raised to see others as evil then a template is laid down to reinforce this through life experience. Our projections are confirmed by responses from others. When we grow in an environment of love then there are more chances that we will see others as loving and respond accordingly. Despite negative experiences love will still be the predominant emotion. We will be able to forgive and not harbour ill feelings towards others. In an environment of hostility we are bound by negative feelings and reactions which cloud our world. 

Solution

The way out of this dilemma is to examine ourselves. We need to judge ourselves first before we judge others. We maybe right in our judgements of others but we will give allowance for error rather then be stuck in one position. We are all fallen and so are influenced by our own fallen nature and environment. Jesus taught us to love first and never to judge others unfairly.This insight will lead us to judge ourselves first before we react and feel sorry. Today let us reflect on our own attitude and be set free from false perceptions.

The Holy Spirit Lives In Me

The Holy Spirit is a Person who resides within my spirit. Jesus said that He would send another who would come and reside within us. The Holy Spirit was always there but now He comes to reside within us. Once He was outside but now He is inside. I had the experience of someone prying through me. This was the Holy Spirit. He is separate from my spirit. It was an awesome experience to know that He lives in me. This separation from my spirit from the Holy Spirit was a experience I never had before. It was as if there was a separation and I could experience Him as separate from y spirit. I heard Him pray in tongues through me which was different from my spirit praying in tongues.

Separation

What does this all mean? This separation has caused me to respect the person of the Holy Spirit within me. Now I carry Him  wherever I go and I expect He will speak through me and I will be aware of this. This awareness comes as I acknowledge His presence within me. It is so true that He is a Comforter and Guide. He is able to direct my thoughts and I stand amazed. He is not just a visitor but a permanent resident. How awesome is that the Creator of the world lives in me! How is this possible but for the grace of God. I am looking forward to see how this experience will change my talk and walk.

Awareness

Being aware of His presence within us is like having another in your home. He is always with you and you will tend to behave and talk differently. You are never alone. He is with you all the time.  Talk about change. This is what happens when we become aware of the Holy Spirit within us. This is what holiness is about. His presence within us turns us into holy people for His glory.

Fear And Anxiety Are From Your Soul. Overcome Through Your Spirit.

Your soul is that part of your being that is composed of your thoughts, feelings and will. Your spirit is separate from your soul. This is not taught by most theologians and so there is confusion in the body. Soul and spirit are used interchangeably by most preachers. This is why the church continues to strive to be better rather than rest in Christ finished work on the Cross. When He saved us the salvation was for our whole being, spirit, soul and body. We know our spirit was redeemed but our soul is being redeemed through the process of sanctification. Our body is affected by this transformation of our soul. Sin still can affect our soul man and manifests in sickness and disease in our  body and mind.

Holy Spirit

When we are filled in the Holy Spirit we have a power to overcome all things. Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit which is the same Spirit that possessed Him. He knew we could not walk the path of holiness without help. He sent the Comforter to help us in our walk. We have the same authority as sons of God as Jesus had when He walked on earth. Why then the disparity between our walk and our talk? I believe this is because we are not walking in the Spirit but in our flesh. This is why we need a separation to occur between our flesh and our spirit. This separation occurs when we are filled in the Holy Spirit and walk in the Spirit.

Authority

In the Holy Spirit we can overcome all things as Jesus did. we must be prepared to die to all things fleshly to be made whole. Our flesh will protest and refuse to die to our dying day. However we can overcome the flesh through our spirit. I know this by experience and daily am growing in strength and authority in the Holy Spirit. The rate of growth is proportional to my death to my flesh. This is why Jesus said that we must be prepared to carry our cross daily to follow Him. The suffering we experience in the flesh is nothing compared to the glory that we will experience. 

When I Come To The End Of My Faith, His Faith In Me Takes Over.

Faith is a gift that we all have a measure of. God has given us enough faith to believe in Him. We were born to believe. It does not matter what we have faith in. This is an inherent quality of our being. Even an atheist has believe in something! God has given all of us a measure of faith so that we can trust in Him. We just need to look up and see His creation all around us. We see the moon and the stars and marvel at how the planets are held together in such a balance. Even a fool can see that the universe is so immense that we cannot fathom the immensity with our finite minds. Yet God in His infinite wisdom has made Himself known to us through His son, Jesus.

Jesus

Jesus took the form of man so that the infinite could become finite for us to grasp the reality of the unseen God. Man tried to form god in his own image to worship him. God took the initiative to come down to the level of man so that we could have a relationship with Him. God planned this before the foundation of the world. Now we His creation can know Him personally and relate with Him. God is not a distant figure in the sky but a present person in the Holy Spirit. Now we have the  opportunity to relate with Him like a person near to us.

Faith

We need faith to believe this. However there are times when our faith is not enough. He grants us the gift of faith when our faith is not enough. His faith propels us to believe for the impossible. There were many situations when I realised that but for the gift of faith I would have drowned in misery. Recently I lost my car key and was desperate. Faith came through for me and I believed it would be found and it was. There are many other occasions when I had given up but God came though for me in dire circumstances. God loves us to believe in Him at all times and not just in good times. He is faithful and true to the end.

Jesus Responded To The Spirit Behind The Words Of A Person

Jesus listened to the words spoken by others but His answers were for or against the spirit. When Peter announced that He was the Son of God Jesus responded in the affirmative. The same Peter a few minutes later said Jesus would not die on the Cross and Jesus rebuked Him for saying it and blamed Satan for it.How does the same person manifest God's word and Satan's word? This is possible when we know that both God and Satan are at work. This is why our tongue is a powerful agent to bless or to curse. We determine who will use us. This maybe an admonition to us to watch what we say. We have the authority on earth to curse or to bless.

Example

I remember at one prayer meeting in Dundee that I cursed the night club beside the church. Six months later it got burned down but the church was spared. I still am amazed that it happened! When we walk in the Spirit, evil will come against us but we have the authority over every serpent and scorpion to crush it under our feet. In these days of turmoil we need to bless what is good and curse the things that God hates. This may sound drastic but the Kingdom of God suffers violence and we have to take it by force by praying in the Spirit.

Discernment

Identifying the spirit behind the words is easy when we choose to walk in the Spirit. Our responses will be in the Spirit. This is how Jesus confused the religious in His day. They just were paralysed in their responses as He bound the spirit that was talking through them. All they could do was to scheme to kill Him. The devil always is in the business of stealing, killing and destruction.Therefore we know that gossip and slander is of the devil. Anything God hates we must hate, like killing babies and euthanasia. This is not an opinion but standing on God's revealed will. We must stand for justice and righteousness and be the salt and light where He has planted us.

Distance Yourself From Your Body To Overcome Your Sinful Desires.

God created us as spiritual beings. God thought of us before we were conceived in our mother's womb. God created us with a purpose and He has written a book about us. However we live in a body that is fallen. It was not God's perfect will that we should eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil. However Adam and Eve fell from grace and we too are stained with sin. This means that we will have  to choose each day whom we will serve. This has been the conflict down through the ages. God has provided a way of escape but sinful flesh continues to want its own way. One way to manage the longings of our sinful desires is to distance ourselves from them. This is similar to being crucified to the flesh. 

Distancing

Distancing is a strategy that helps us objectify what we struggle with in the flesh. If we are addicted to porn than distancing ourselves from this will help us see this habit outside ourselves. This enables us to have more control of this desire and help us stop it. This can be applied in any area where an idol has replaced  Christ as Lord. An idol is anything or person who distracts us from the Lordship of Jesus. It can be your wife or children or even a hobby. Satan's strategy is to distract us from serving Christ with all our heart, mind and strength. We need to cast all our cares upon Him and never relent till He is Lord over all.

Externalisation

Distancing is a strategy I have found helpful. When one is able to distance one self we are able to see the offending person, thing or habit as external to ourselves. This is a form of separation. We are called to be separate from the world so that the world does not have an influence over us. Too many have given in to the pressure from the world and compromised. Now is the time to be separate as a body, holy and pure for our soon coming Bride.

Truth Forces Us to Think In Black And White

Truth is difficult to comprehend in a fallen world. Yet Jesus said He is the Truth. His word is truth and is the template for all to base their opinions on. However many do not accept that the Bible is the word of God and is based on absolute truth. Facts are different from truth. Facts can change. Science is based on facts. Truth belongs to a higher realm of intelligence and is from a heavenly realm. Truth is spirit based while facts are based on what can be evaluated. Truth many times cannot be proved by facts because it is based on a different dimension of knowledge. Therefore when we apply truth as our standard for our conduct we become black and white in our thinking and responses.

Black And White

Black and white thinking does not help us in our interactions with others. Most of our dealings with others are based on context. A person who operates as a victim cannot appreciate another who behaves like a victor. Both are true in their own life experience. When one tries to apply one experience against another conflict of opinions arise. Both are right but come from different experiences. Jesus came to lead us to embrace the truth. Truth is in a person and He said He is the truth. Pilate could not understand this. Many find this a challenge that there is such a thing as absolute truth. Yet God is absolute truth and therefore we can expect justice and righteousness from Him.

Truth

Truth enables us to think in a higher plane but there is no discussion on truth. In heaven there are no opinions and therefore there are no questions. Everything is truth and plain to all. Truth enlightens our minds and we can see right from wrong. Truth enables us to be free to be. This is what Jesus promised us when we receive Him as our Lord and Saviour. He comes to live in us and lead us and guide us in our daily life. We need to lead others to the Truth so that they too can be set free from the world of opinions.

The Disconnect Between God's Word And Our Experience.

God's word is full of promises and we are supposed to avail of them in this life. However there is a disconnect between what His word says and what we experience. Why? I believe this disconnection is due to several factors and one of them is trust. Faith demands that we believe and trust what God says. However our mind is slow to understand and comprehend His word. We read His word and fail to receive its benefits. This disconnect has caused many to wander away from walking with God. God says He has come to give us abundant life but all we see is strife and chaos. Many are still in the Romans 7 experience where we find ourselves doing the things we should not be doing.  We fail to enter into the Romans 8 experience of abundant living. 

Alignment

We experience the born again state where our spirit is redeemed but continue to walk according to the flesh. No wonder we are in conflict in ourselves. When we align ourselves with God's word we will experience the fulfilment of His promises. This is a process of sanctification where our mind gets transformed to  align with His word. The Holy Spirit then manifests through us and we experience the healing and restoration of our soul. God's word says you have been healed yet many continue to suffer from sickness and disease. How can this be? We must pursue the things in the Spirit and not operate with our mind.

Sanctification

Our minds need to be transformed to understand the things of the Spirit. If we try and understand spiritual matters using our mind we will operate at a human level. God is Spirit and we need to connect with Him through our spirit. The disconnect we see is because we are trying to live our lives using our mind. Revelation comes to us through the spirit and then understanding comes to our mind. Let us stop walking according to our flesh and begin to walk by faith in the Spirit.

We Must Operate In The Overflow To Avoid Burnout.

Walking in the spirit is not easy in the flesh. The flesh operates by sight and this is not the way of the spirit. The spirit operates by faith. This is a different dimension to walking by sight. Faith sees what is not seen yet believes. He who comes to God must believe He exists. It is impossible to please God without faith. God has not made it impossible for us to walk this walk of faith. He sent His Holy Spirit to help us in our walk. Now we must be filled with Him so that we trust Him more than we trust ourselves. When we trust Him He comes through for us. All the saints who have gone before us are a testament of their trust in God.

Be Filled

God wants us to be filled in the Holy Spirit like a tank is filled. He also wants us to overflow in the Spirit. Being filled is sufficient for us to function but the overflow enables us to bless others. Filling our own tank meets our needs but we are here to bless. Blessing will flow out of us to bless others and meet their needs. Many are hungry and thirsty and unless we reach out they will surely die. The baptism in the Spirit is a requirement for the overflow. This baptism was manifested in the gift of tongues. It is as if the overflow spilled out in tongues. Now as we pray in tongues we begin to prime the pump to start the overflow.

Praying In Tongues

I have found that praying in tongues has enabled me to flow in the overflow. Many things that appeared impossible became possible in the overflow. People were affected around me and the atmosphere shifted. Many times we enter a space where there is a spirit of strife and our presence calms the atmosphere. Many solutions come forth in daily mundane matters. Creative thoughts and visions manifest in the overflow. Healing and deliverance manifest in the overflow. Ministry becomes a joy rather than a burden. We are refreshed rather than washed out. Today let us operate in the overflow and glow for Jesus.

Those Who Spaak From The Fire Spread The Fire

The Fire is where God resides in glory. Fire speaks of holiness and purity. It burns but also empowers. This fire is living and so can produce life. In the Spirit we enter into a higher realm. We are seated in heavenly places with Christ as believers. However few of us understand this and therefore still operate from earthly realms. When we enter the throne room of God we have a different perspective of things. We see things from God's perspective. This change of perception will lead to a different way of doing things. Jesus spoke from the fire and many did not understand Him. They failed to comprehend His words because they saw from an earthly perspective. Those who understood the meaning of His words began to change.

Jesus

When we speak from the Fire we will speak like Jesus. His words from heaven will flow through us and touch others. When Jesus spoke the devils left and healing and deliverance happened. This is what we can expect as signs and wonders following our preaching of the word. This is the time when God is moving in nations and making Himself known to the masses. The glory cloud is descending and people are being caught up through the revelation from heaven. Those outside the fold will see and be amazed. The systems of the world will crumble under the power of God. 

Justice

Righteousness and justice will return to government as people repent and turn from their wicked ways. Only a fresh move of God can reverse the downward trend that we see in the world today. Let us join our hearts together and pray for the fire of God to spread through the nations. It has already started happening and those who have ears to hear will hear the rumblings. Many suddenlies will happen. Signs in the heavens and on earth will happen. These are all signs of the things to come. We must be ready and prepared to move as the Spirit moves.
