Mind Transformation Is The Only Way To Be Transformed Into Jesus Image

The Bible states that we should be transformed by the renewal of our minds. Our mind is part of our soul or psyche. Our mind has been trained by the world to think and perceive in worldly ways. This worldly mind needs to be transformed to think like Jesus. The word of God and Jesus are the same. So when we read and understand His word we get transformed. God's word is living and powerful to separate our spirit from our soul. It is able to discern good from evil. What is seen outwardly could be a copy of the real. To discern the spirit behind the cover requires spiritual insight. Many are deceived by the external rites and rituals of religion. Religion has deceived many to believe the lie rather than the truth. 

Mind Transformation

Mind transformation is the only way to become heavenly minded. This is the key to walking in victory on earth. However there is a cost. Truth will always be challenged by lies. When you stand for truth you will face opposition. This is good for this is a sign that you are standing against the powers of darkness. Many suffer for standing for the truth. In this world that revolves around lies, truth is a rare concept. We have become so used to lies that it has become part of our persona. Some people get away by saying it is white lies or being social and nice. Jesus confronted the Pharisees of His day by calling them white washed sepulchres!

Truth

Truth is essential in these days to stand against the forces of evil. Evil has penetrated our psyche that we believe it. We need transformation of our minds. Jesus is the truth and His word is the truth. When we believe this we become transformed into His image. His image is the original personality of creation. When we talk and walk like Jesus we become His light bearers in a dark world. We need to walk in revelational knowledge. This is knowledge we receive through the Spirit from heaven. This is our daily manna to keep us walking in the light. The light of His presence enfolds us and keeps us from all harm and danger. Let us be transformed and be the source of hope in this fallen world.

The Beautiful Exchange

Old Nature

Our nature is fallen and cannot be changed. We were born in sin and condemned to death. However Jesus died so that we can be delivered from sin. He came to give us His nature in exchange. This is the great salvation we have in Him. He restored us to the original design before sin entered man. What a beautiful exchange this is and no amount of work can replicate this. We try to be good but God says our good work is like filthy rags. His righteousness is through His shed blood on the Cross. He paid the price for you and for me. 

New Nature

God's nature is His personality. Jesus demonstrated this to us on earth. He came as the son of man and was anointed in the Spirit. He showed us how we too can be anointed in the Spirit and walk like He did. He gave us His Holy Spirit to dwell in us to help us in our walk. This means that our old nature needs to die so the new can come forth. The new nature is Jesus nature and will shine through us. We are the replica of Him on earth. Now when we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Our personality is transformed into His image.

Beautiful Exchange

What a beautiful exchange is this and too profound to comprehend. Yet this is what God had planned from the beginning. Now we are being prepared for rulership in the world to come. Our training begins now on earth and we can do this only through His Holy Spirit in us. This is why we must let go of all things that will hinder us in this walk in the Spirit. Let us begin today to shine for Jesus wherever we maybe.

When You See Into The Unseen, Things Become Tangible.

Faith

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. What is seen is self evident. What is unseen requires faith to see. Once we are able to see beyond the seen, we become like God. God sees into the unseen realm because He is the invisible, transcendent being who resides in the heavenlies. Yet He has made Himself known to us through His Son, Jesus. God saw into the unseen realm and gave birth to His Son on earth. There are many things we do not see at present but one day they become evident. God knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb. 

Spiritual Eyes

Seeing into the unseen realm requires faith. Yet faith is that intangible way that many of us find difficult to comprehend with our physical eyes. We need spiritual eyes to see into the realm of the unseen. This is possible only when God opens our eyes to see. Many think they see but are blind. We can deceive ourselves by saying we see but don't. This is the deception that many fall into because we are blinded by the god of this world. This blindness keeps us bound to the earthly realm of sight. To go go beyond the earthly realm requires faith. Yet God has given us enough faith to believe. 

Jesus

This is a mystery how many are called but few are chosen. God desires that all be saved but few are saved. This is because of blindness. Spiritual blindness results in only being able to operate in the seen realm. Faith takes us to a different realm. So many are deceived by believing in things that has nothing to do with God. God has made a way through Jesus. He said He is the only way to the Father. When we believe this we begin to see. This sight then leads us to walk through the door into the other realm where Jesus is. We now have access to all of heavens riches.

Spirit Filled, Spirit Led And Spirit Targeted.

Spirit Filled

God sent His Holy Spirit to fill us so that we would not be on our own. Jesus mission on earth was completed after He ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of His Father. He said He had to go so that He could send the Holy Spirit to help us on our journey on earth. His Holy Spirit came at Pentecost as promised and filled those waiting and manifested in speaking in tongues or other languages. Those witnessing this event saw and heard fire and sound as evidence of the in filling. So also today we need to be filled with His Spirit to function in the Spirit.

Spirit Led

Now the Holy Spirit will lead us in our daily walk. Jesus was led by the Spirit. He only did what He saw and heard His Father doing. This was possible not because He was the Son of God but the son of man anointed in the Spirit. Jesus was full of the Spirit. We too need to be full of the Spirit to do what Jesus did. Jesus said that we would do more than what He did. This is only possible through the anointing in the Spirit. To be led by the Spirit is to not walk by sight but by faith. This is an inner knowing which some call intuition. I felt led to hand a tract recently to someone who repaired my watch strap. He later rang me and we are in fellowship now.

Spirit Targeted

The Spirit targets certain people and situations for a purpose. We may think it is a coincidence but in God there is no coincidence. He directs our steps and we walk accordingly. Life takes on a totally new dimension when we walk in the Spirit. He gives us strategies to solve impossible problems. He opens the eyes of the blind when we speak the now word to them. Heaven comes down and we begin to know what it is to live a heavenly life on earth. Chance  encounters turn out to be supernatural events. What appeared to be a negative situation turns out to be an encounter made in heaven. How exciting to live a Spirit led life.

Spiritual Blindness Is Caused By Believing In Lies

Spiritual Blindness

Spiritual blindness is a condition just like sin is a condition. Due to blindness people cannot believe that there is a God who loves us. This blindness is due to believing in lies propagated by the god of this world. The devil is against God and his main mission is to take as many as possible to hell with him. Therefore we see all kinds of lies being perpetrated through media and other sources to lead us into blindness. We are blind because the lies keep us from believing. Once we are healed we become like the blind man who proclaimed sight after being healed. The blinkers were lifted and he could see clearly.

Soul Blindness

Spiritual blindness can only be lifted through believing in Jesus. Many confuse psychological blindness with spirit blindness. Many ministries focus on soul blindness. Soul blindness is to do with our psyche. Our soul is to do with our thinking, feeling and will. Our spirit was dead through the Fall. This is why Jesus had to come to reverse the curse of sin so we might be saved from blindness. To see in the spirit is to be born again. Just like the caterpillar becomes a butterfly so is the experience of being born again. We see the world from God's perspective.

Salvation

When we become sighted we see and behold the beauty of all creation. God becomes real and we begin our journey into wholeness. Through His Spirit in us we become renewed to fulfil His plan for our life. God's plans for our life is being thwarted by the devil and so we need discernment to know what is good and what is evil. Evil many times can present as good but the spirit behind it is evil. Let us walk in the light as He is in the light. In Him all is light and there is no darkness. His light shines to dispel the darkness. Lord open our eyes to see and believe and be set free.

Only In The Spirit Can We Live An Abundant Life

Spirit

God is Spirit and he created us as spirit beings. We live in our body and have a soul. Our soul thinks, feels and decides. Our spirit was dead and through the born again experience was redeemed and is alive. Our soul is being redeemed. Our body will one day die and return to the dust. When Jesus said that we would have life and that abundant, He was referring to our spirit that was redeemed through His death and resurrection. Our spirit will return to Him when we die and we will sit with Him in heaven. In fact we are already seated with Him in heaven now but the full realisation will come after we die.

Soul

Our soul is being redeemed. We are still dealing with issues in our soul. This is why we need to be transformed in our minds to think and feel like Jesus. This transformation is a process. Many are unaware of this and therefore when conflicted feel guilty and blame themselves. Many are the struggles in the soul and many fall because they give up the fight. The Holy Spirit who resides in us can help us in our weakness. He can make the crooked places straight and turn the hurt into healing. Salvation is for the whole person and not just for the spirit. When we experience His salvation in our soul and body, this becomes a sign and a wonder.

Abundant Living

Today we can live an abundant life in the spirit. His abundant life resides in us. Streams of living water flows through us. We need to tap into this stream and not be distracted by the enemy of our soul. Demons get attached to hurt and unforgiveness. They have no place in our soul. We need to deal with them as if they are our enemy and rout them out through the blood and Name of Jesus. This is the only way we can progress in our Christian life. Our weakness will be turned into strength. Do not hide your weakness but turn it into a strength through the Spirit.

Sin Is A Condition And Not An Act.

Sin

Sin is not a word that is talked about much these days. The concept of sin has negative connotations and in this world of compromise is seen as a stigma. However sin is real and we can see the consequences of sin all around us. Most of us confuse sin as a condition with the acts of sin. We condemn others because of their sinful behaviours. Sin has been defined as rebellion or anything that proclaims itself above God. This happened in the garden of Eden when Eve decided to listen to the voice of Satan and gave into the temptation to eat of the fruit of good and evil. Today we too relish in eating from the tree of good and evil and therefore bring a curse upon ourselves.

Spiritual Condition

Sin is a spiritual condition. We were all born in sin and need redemption. God planned this from the beginning that He would redeem man from his sinful sate. He did this by sending His Son Jesus to be the sacrifice for sin. His blood was shed and now works through His resurrection to redeem us from our sinful state. His blood is powerful to redeem because it continues to work as if it is alive and powerful to cleanse all sin. This is the Good News of the gospel. God made a way where there was no way, for man to return to God in a sinless state. His blood cleanses us from all sin.

Solution

This is the power that now works in us to continue to redeem our soul from this wicked world. We are all prone to sin even though our spirit has been redeemed. However we have a way of escape through His blood. This blood sacrifice is eternal and works in us an eternal work of salvation. His blood is enough to cleanse the vilest sinner who comes to Him to be saved. This is a spiritual transaction. No man can buy his salvation for it by grace through faith that we are saved. Come today and be saved from sin and be made whole in Jesus Name.
