Change Your Thinking. Fix Your Problems.

 

Most of us will face problems in life that challenge us. We try and fix these problems in different ways and sometimes never seem to fix them.  The problem may not be the real problem. The real problem may lie in the way we think about the problem. We all think in different ways and sometimes the problems arise due to faulty thinking. A child who is raised to think he is a loser will think in losing ways. A child raised to be a winner will think in winning ways. They will face their challenges in losing or winning ways. One continues to lose and the other continues to win. What if you were to change your thinking to winning  all the time? 

 

Winning and losing are linked to the way we think. Our thought processes determine the outcome of our challenges in life. Many are caught in a victim state and therefore are always reacting to circumstances and situations in the ways of a victim. What happens when the victim decides to change to be a winner? We have heard of people who have gone from rags to riches. Could it be that they decided to change the way they faced life situations by taking on a victor mentality? A person will reap what he sows. A miser thinks he will lose all he has saved only to find that he has a treasure but fails to enjoy it. He continues to live a miserable life.

 

How about changing our thinking today from one of poverty to one of riches? We were rigged to win. Why not believe this and begin to face situations in life as challenges to win? The Bible states that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28). In God we are winners. The world may say we are losers but God says otherwise. Whom do we believe? I choose to believe God and therefore I can say that I am a winner. God has blessed me more than I can say and He continues to bless me. God is good all the time.

Let Go Of Your Possessions To God And Be Protected.

 

The things of this world tend to have a hold on us. We get attached to things especially ones that have been with us a long time. Certain articles of art and instruments get attached to us. They are like old friends and it is difficult to let go of them. Yet we know that we will not be able to take any of these things with us when we leave planet earth for good. God wants to protect us from any idols that we may be attached to. The only way is to let them go so that they don't have a hold on us. Anything that has a hold on us is an idol. Once we let go of these things, we will experience a freedom of release. Idols can be controlling because they are like gods. 

 

God wants to extend His protection to our possessions. Anything we hold on tightly to will bind us. When we let go of these things to God then He will protect them. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. God comes to give life and that abundantly. Therefore be free today from your possessions and let them go to God. What we hold on tightly to, will keep us bound and trapped. The very thing that we think will free us, like money, will bind us. Fear of losing what we possess can finally result in its loss. The enemy is fear.

 

Today let go and let God take control of your possessions. In this material world our possessions give us a sense of security. However this is a false sense of security. Real security is to be at rest in whatever circumstance we find ourselves in. We need to shift our focus from outside us to inside us. We need to move from a rock bottom situation to the Rock being our bottom. Jesus is our Rock of all ages. He only can insure and protect all that belongs to us. He has bought our salvation. Now He wants to release us from everything else that will bind us. Today let go, be set free and live.

How To Think With Your Heart

 

God created us as a triune being of body, soul and spirit. Our senses keep us aware of our body. Our mind and emotions keep us aware of our soul. However our spirit is dead till it becomes alive in Jesus. When we become born again of the Holy Spirit our spirit is born again. The Holy Spirit comes and dwells in our spirit. Now we become aware of another in us who can communicate with us. Once the Holy Spirit was outside us preparing us and leading us to repentance. When we repented and turned away from our sin, we were renewed and became a new creation. We now have access to our Father in heaven through Jesus. There is only one mediator between God and man. His name is Jesus.

 

Now that our spirit is alive we can perceive Jesus talking with us. He communicates with us through words, dreams and visions. All the nine gifts of the Spirit become active within us. We experience a new power through His Spirit within us. We yearn to know Jesus and follow Him. We become transformed through His presence within us. The more we listen to His voice, the more we become like Him. We are being transformed from glory to glory. This is a personal relationship with Him. We long to live in His presence for there is nothing else that matters now that we know Him. This is a relationship made in heaven that we can now live on earth.

 

Jesus often speaks through His still small voice. We get more sensitive to His voice within us. He reveals His thoughts to us and we experience His joy and peace within us. We begin to walk according to His commands because He is our Commander in Chief. He gives us solutions to our daily problems and challenges. He meets our every need from His resources in heaven. In this way we become more like Him. We take the form of who we imitate. The more time we spend with Him, the more we will become like Him. His Spirit within us outworks His desires through us. In this way we establish His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Watch Your Reaction. 

 

Reactions are responses to actions. Most of us react to others who disagree with us. These reactions reveal more about ourselves than about others. Our reactions are like defensive actions to protect us from what we perceive as threats. A differing opinion is just that, namely a different view on a subject. It is not a fact or the truth. It may be based on some facts but facts change. One version of a story appears true till we hear the other side. This is why we have courts to help us decide on what is right, so justice can prevail. Both sides of the issue are heard in court, before the judge decides on the outcome. 

 

If my reaction is negative then I may need to step back and ask why? My reactions are an indication that at some level I am feeling threatened. Fear is a common reaction. Fear is based on fake evidence appearing as real. In this world we are faced with all kinds of fake news. These are opinions promoted by some people with different agendas to bias an issue in one way. A drug may be promoted to serve a specific purpose but the harmful side effects may be worse than the original painful condition that is being treated. In this way one can be initially persuaded to believe in a certain product or person only to be disappointed. This is why we need to watch our reactions because they may teach us to address certain matters that keep us bound to a certain way of thinking or doing things.

 

Many friends fall out with each other over minor issues. We see this played out in daily life at work or in church. Families break up because of differences. These differences become intolerable and so walking away often appears to be the only solution. There is a saying "I love him to death". How does one love another to death unless murder is part of the agenda? Love and hate many times are like two sides of a coin. One can love someone intensely and hate them at the same time. No wonder we see so many taking the easy way out by committing suicide. Intense reactions may lead to destructive actions like taking one's own life or even murder. Watch your reactions and never give up.

Once The Demonic Leaves, You Will Experience True Abundance.

 

This world and all that is in it is controlled by Satan who is the god of this world. There are millions of demons who oppress us daily whether we are aware of it or not. We may excuse their influence by calling it an accident or that it is due to psychological problems. However underlying most situations and issues are demons acting beyond our awareness. It is only spiritual people who can discern the underlying demonic activity. The spiritual man discerns what is of the flesh and what is of the spirit. The spirit world is real and we can see evidence of this all around us. Leaders are influenced by demons. They are sent to steal, kill and destroy. Therefore when you see these destructive things happening it usually is the work of demonic entities working through humans.

 

We need to give access to demons for them to act through us. The church has failed to teach on this subject as it mainly operates in the soulish realm. The church has compromised with the world to preach a gospel of happiness rather than a gospel of salvation. It is only the Holy Spirit that can save. Messages that tickle the soul will never save a soul. It is time for the church to wake up to deal with the real enemy of our soul. This is only possible when the church preaches the good news of God's goodness that will lead people to repentance. The Cross is the only way to God. Without repentance there is no salvation through the Cross of Jesus. Satan was dealt a lethal blow at the Cross. It is only the message of the Cross that can save a soul from being deceived by the devil.

 

Now is the time for the church to wake up and be the church. However, it may be too late and like the story of the ten virgins five may be left behind. We must be prepared to meet the Bridegroom when He comes. He may come anytime and only those who are prepared and ready will meet with Him. Are you prepared to meet Him? I look forward to meeting Him. I prepare myself by praying and meditating on His word. I fill myself with His Spirit daily and listen to His voice guiding and leading me. I take authority over the demonic and give them no room to prevail. In this way I advance God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Come and join me and be prepared to spend eternity with Him.

The Name Of Jesus And The Blood Of Jesus Are Enough

 

There is no other Name under heaven by which man can be saved (Acts 4:12). His Name is Jesus. This is the truth yet many refuse to accept Him as the only Saviour. God sent His Son as the perfect sacrifice for our redemption from sin. There is no further sacrifice required. God did it all for His creation. This was the plan even before the creation of the world. Jesus knew this was His mission and He fulfilled it on Calvary. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Either He is who He says He is or He is a liar. We now have to choose to believe or reject the Truth. 

 

The blood of Jesus is enough to cleanse us from all sin. Once we have believed and applied this truth, our conscience is now clear and it is as if we have never sinned. This is to be like Adam and Eve were before the Fall in the Garden of Eden. We too can enter into the same union with the Father  through the blood of Jesus . There is no other way but His way. His blood is the only way for our redemption. This was the plan from the beginning and there is no other plan. God said it and it was done. Satan was defeated on the Cross and he has no more power over us who believe in Jesus. The demons tremble at the mention of His blood. They have no access to His blood. 

 

Now we have a battle to remain in the salvation bought for us. This is the battle with the principalities and powers of evil that will cause us to doubt. Our spirit has been redeemed but we continue to be redeemed in our soul. His Name and His blood are sufficient for us to overcome all the forces that would come against us. We need to exercise our authority over these evil powers that are against us. We do this by calling on the Name above all other names. We declare His blood over us and our possessions. His blood will keep us safe from all attacks. This is the only way for us to overcome the enemy and thus be overcomers. Today let us call on the Name of Jesus and cover ourselves in His blood and be free.

What Is The Source Of Your Supply?

All of us are dependent on the source of supply to meet our needs. Water is delivered from reservoirs through pipes to our homes. So also we have different sources to meet our physical needs. All providers of services receive their supplies from a source. In this world we are dependent on money to provide for our needs. Money is not the source but the means to buy a product to meet our need. In the past bartering was the means to exchange and supply goods and services. Many are throttled by lack of money to meet their needs. Yet God has promised to meet all our needs. He who feeds the sparrow will He not do that for His human creation?

God is the source for all our needs. We do not recognise this to our peril. We get anxious and worry about how our daily bread will be met. However we do this because we think that we are the source and not God. When we shift our eyes from self to God then a shift occurs in the source of our supply. This shift is a major shift. We cry to God when all else fails. However God wants to be our source all the time and not just in desperate times. We pray only when we have a need. How about praying and thanking God all the time in plenty and in drought. When God becomes our source not just in word but in spirit, we have an endless supply.

God is limitless in His supply. When we tap into God's abundance we will never lack anything. He becomes our source and He has promised to supply. Could it be that we lack because we are dependent on another source then God? Many who have hit rock bottom realise that their turn around came when they turned to God as their source. Why wait till we hit rock bottom to turn to Him. Let us turn now to Him and leave all to follow Him and trust Him for our source. He will reward those who trust Him. His resources in heaven are limitless. He is able to meet all our needs from His resources in heaven. Whatever your need is, financial, emotional or spiritual, He is able to meet your need now.

The Logos Word Must Become A Rhema Word To Bear Fruit

 

The logos word of God is the written word which is contained in the Bible. We read His word and become aware of God's mind and His will. God recorded for our benefit His works from the beginning of creation. Now all can read His word and know His will. However knowing about His word is not the same as knowing His word. Knowledge of the Bible does not necessarily translate into a belief in His word. Many people can recite verses from the Bible by heart but they still do not believe what these verses say. It is the Holy Spirit that needs to reveal what is in God’s word. Without His Spirit there will be no revelation of His word. This is why many are spiritually poor.

 

Jesus spoke His word to His disciples. He sometimes spoke in parables but many did not understand Him. To this day many read the Bible stories but fail to understand the meaning of them. This is called spiritual blindness. The same blindness exists today as it did in Jesus’ days. Many go to church and hear His word read but fail to understand and so are no better off when they leave. This is why many have lost faith in the church and church attendance has dropped. People are bored with religion and want the real thing.

 

God speaks through His word and brings life to His word through His Spirit. Those who have ears to hear will hear. It is when the spoken word becomes real that lives get transformed. One person can hear the word and it achieves nothing while another hears the same word and is changed. This is when the written word becomes the rhema word. This rhema word becomes a personal revelation which brings about transformation like healing. It bears fruit according to the word that was revealed. Today wait to hear His rhema word and be transformed and changed into His image.

When You Are Convinced About Something, It Will Happen

 

Most of us live our life only partially aware of what we do. It is as if we are in automatic mode. We drive our cars as if on automatic mode. We are so used to routine that we can do things with our eyes closed! This makes us vulnerable to being slowly cooked into a system or programme. We become blinded by the media and hear only one part of a story and not the whole story. It is like hearing  one man's version of a story, until we get a chance to hear another version. We are all prone to listen to those who agree with us. Any challenge to our position is rejected. The challenge represents a threat to our automatic mode of operation. A difference of opinion is seen as a threat rather than an opportunity for learning. 

 

Having said that, there is a place where we need to be convinced before we can have a breakthrough. This is like having an alignment to what we believe in. Faith works to obtain what it believes in. If I believe that I will be rich then that is what I will be. If I believe I will be poor then that is what will be my living experience. God's word is like promises that need to be believed. When we are convinced of the power of His word to produce, then we will see the fruit come forth. Could this be the reason that many are not bearing fruit? We are not convinced and allow opinions of others to interfere with our belief. 

 

Salvation is free. However we must believe and receive  before we can experience the Truth. Similarly in all other areas of our lives whether in finances, relationships or career, we must believe in order to see the outworkings of our belief. If we are unconvinced about a certain matter, it is better to wait till we are convinced. Faith believes then takes action. Joshua believed and moved forward to enter the promised land. The fact of Giants in the land did not deter him. David knew His God was bigger than Goliath and he slew him. Once we are convinced we too can take action and prevail. Doubt will not work. Only believe.

I Trust God Completely. I Hate The Devil Completely.

 

I trust God completely because I believe in Him. I believe He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for me and the rest of the world. I believe He is a good God and has my best interests in His heart. He designed me for His purpose. He knew me before I was formed in my mother's womb and He has a plan for my life. He has destined me for heaven and in Him I am secure. This is the God I trust. He is available to all who call on His Name. This was God's intention from the beginning and it has not changed. However the devil has other plans. He has been cut off from God and so his mission is to take as many as possible to Hell with him.

 

The devil is a thief and a murderer. His job description is to steal, kill and destroy. He is the cause of all the evil we see in this world. However many are blind to his existence. Most believe he is just a bad character out of a fairy book. Evil is real and the evidence of this can be seen all around us. We rationalise evil by saying it is human weakness. This is to compromise with the devil and his works. We see how right has become wrong now and wrong has become right. Once we thought abortion was evil. Now we think it is practical. This kind of deception comes from the devil. 

 

What is the way out of the mess we are in? The only answer is God's answer. He sent His Son, Jesus, for our redemption. God said all who believe in Jesus and receive Him as their Lord and Saviour will be saved. Saved from what? Saved from eternal damnation. Now it is our choice to receive His redemption or not. It is a binary issue. There's no grey area. God has no opinions. He says it as it is. So we have no excuse. Good works are not enough. Only the blood of Jesus can redeem us. Choose today whom you will serve: God or Satan.

God Is With You All The Time. Not Just Some Of The Time.

 

God is omniscient and omnipresent. He is everywhere at the same time. He cannot be limited by our thinking. He is our Creator and we are His creation being made in His image. However when we sinned, we lost the perfection we had when God originally created Adam and Eve. They were like God except that they did not know evil. God knew good and evil and this is why He forbade them from eating of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now we too can eat of the fruit of this tree or the fruit of the tree of life. In the world we have eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We see the results of this around us. There are good and evil works. 

 

God designed us to have fellowship with Him. He longs to help us on our earthly journey. He is with us all the time whether we are aware of it or not. When we become spiritually aware we can see and feel His presence. We were all destined to be saved. However many refuse to receive the word of life. They continue to be spiritually blind till the day they die. Those of us who have come into His Kingdom know what it is like to be blind. Once we too were blind but now we see. Now that we can see, we can walk with eyes open. Those who are blind continue to walk in darkness. 

 

We who are spiritually discerning can see the works of darkness. These are manifest in this world where people steal, kill and destroy. We suffer in this world because of the darkness around us. Yet He has given us a way of escape. We have our hope in Him who resides in us. He is also our hiding place. In Him we are secure and our delight is to serve Him all the days of our life. He has said that He will never leave us or forsake us. This promise is for all those who call on His Name, Jesus. He is with us all the time and will lead us to our destiny. Our names are written in the Lamb’s book of Life. What a privilege and destiny we have in Jesus.

You Are A Son Of God. You Are A Supernatural Being.

 

Jesus came as the Son of God to redeem the world. He sacrificed His life on the Cross and all who call on Him will be saved. He made them children of God or, in other words, sons of God. We are now new creatures in Him with His Spirit living in us. We have a new nature  in Him. We are now owned by Him and we live in a new Kingdom and heaven is our home. We have been separated from this world and it is no longer our home. Our mansions are being built in heaven waiting for our promotion when He calls us home to be with Him. Meanwhile we are to live in our new identity as a son of God.

 

In our new identity we have the same supernatural ability Jesus had when He walked on earth. His resurrection power is available to us because He lives in us. This supernatural power is what will make the world see and believe in Jesus. They will see the love we carry and our supernatural ability to perform signs and wonders. Our responsibility is to preach His word. Signs and wonders will follow as we do so. This is His promise and it is fulfilled as we speak the word of His power. God created the worlds through His spoken word. We do the same as we speak His word empowered by His Spirit. The Spirit takes His word and performs it. His healing word heals, His saving word saves and His deliverance word delivers.

 

This is the inheritance of His children. We are spirit beings on an earthly journey. We live now only for Him and His Kingdom. We pray His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is to bring heaven down to earth. Jesus did good wherever He went. We are to do the same. He pushed back the kingdom of darkness. We too need to be light in a dark world. We are to push back the forces of darkness that are sent to steal, kill and destroy. Now the Kingdom of God has come to bring life and that eternal. Let us walk in our new nature and not give in to the flesh, which will fight against the Spirit. I choose to walk by the Spirit and deny the desires of my flesh. In this way we will establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
