Predestination Or Destination. You Still Have To Make A Choice.

The Apostle Paul says that we were predestined to belong to Father God before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4, 5). This can mean that some of us were destined through God's choice to be in heaven with Him. Yet Jesus said He is the only Way to the Father {John14:6}. Do these statements conflict with each other? The first statement appears to imply that we have no choice while the other implies we do have a choice. However if some are predestined to go to heaven but the choice is ours, then it makes sense that both are right. God wants none to perish and all to be saved but the choice is ours. Do we choose to acknowledge His Son as Saviour and Lord or not?

There are Christian leaders including the Pope that have said that there are more ways to God than only through Jesus. They say that since we were predestined that there is no need to evangelise. These sound like anti-Christ statements. How confusing is it for a leader to make such statements and deceive the elect? We need to discern what spirit is behind these statements, otherwise the devil will divide us by using deception. Jesus is clear when He states that He is the only Way to the Father (John 14:6). Any other way is no way to the Father. Other ways maybe to a god but not Father God.

During these days we need to discern the truth from the lies. There is so much fake news that people are lost or confused as to who to believe. This is the plan of the devil for he wants to keep people blind to the Truth. This is an opportune time for the good news of the Gospel to be proclaimed clearly and directly to the populace. People are looking for direction in a hopeless world. The direction is clear. Choose today whom you will serve. I and my household have decided to serve the Lord.
