I AM Lives In You

Jesus said He would come and live in us when we receive Him as our Lord and Saviour. How is this possible when He has ascended and lives at the right hand of the Father? God is spirit and can be present in more than one place. We cannot limit God by our human understanding. God operates in many dimensions. It is impossible for us with our finite minds to comprehend the awesome God we serve. He is the Creator of the Universe and we are His creation. How can the created being question the Creator? Jesus said He abides in us and we abide in Him (e.g., John 6:56). In fact, the Three-in-One God resides in us: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We need to believe in our heart that Jesus is risen from the dead. Many question whether He really rose from the dead. The gospel is powerless if He did not rise from the dead. Jesus resurrected Lazarus after he was dead for four days. The same Jesus lives in us. He can raise us from the dead when we operate as if we are dead. There are parts of us that are dying, especially our physical bodies. Some battle with a loss of function due to stroke or an accident. The I AM today can give life to these parts. If we believe He is alive then anything is possible.

One word from the Lord can bring life. Jesus sent His word and healed them. The centurion came to Jesus and said his servant would be healed if He would speak the word of healing (Matt 8:8). The centurion was lauded for his faith. Today Jesus lives within us, so how much more can we expect Him to heal us. Believe that His presence within us can and will heal us. Let Him take over. Let go of areas where we have limited Him by our thinking. Now think how the great I AM in us can do anything to restore us to our original design.

Change From Operating In Cronos Time To Kairos Time

Time is a dimension that we are familiar with and our clocks remind us of that. Everything is ordered based on time. We set our clocks to wake us up at a certain time. Time controls us so that we don't get to work late or miss appointments. Some work places fine you if you are late for work. The time we operate in is called Cronos time. Time also has an end just as it has a beginning. We all will die one day when our time is up. However there is another time in which God operates.

God operates in Kairos time as He is beyond space and time. He is eternal, meaning He is outside time, since He has no beginning and no end. His time is always an eternal now. When we shift to His time then we operate in an eternal now. This shift means we can expect answers in His time and not ours. This will also change how and when we can expect answers to our prayers. Since God operates outside time, His time is now. This should raise our expectancy in prayer to expect the impossible now.

Faith enables us to connect with God for He is our hope. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for ...” (Heb 11:1). This means that our faith is the substance that makes what we pray for tangible. When we pray for healing we can expect to be healed. When we ask for money we can expect money to come into our bank accounts. Faith is the evidence of things not seen in Kairos time. Expect your faith to deliver now the tangible answers you have been praying for. Do not limit yourself by Cronos time. God answers to faith as He is the one who asks us to trust Him by faith. Try it and see the difference to your prayers.

I Am A Spirit Man In An Earthly Suit.

Most of us are conscious of our earthly suit that we glamorise daily as we look in the mirror. We spend a lot of money and time shaping it up to look good. We are conscious of our weight and looks and plastic surgery aids in defining our looks. What we see sometimes is not the real person but a make up of many sorts. The real person is behind the covering of clothes and make up. The outward man deceives us from getting in touch with the real me. In the world the external impression is important. Yet we know that this will not last. One day we will all grow old and ugly. We try and delay this fact through many ways till tragedy strikes and we have to accept the fact we are old.

Some of us are aware of the spirit man within us. Our Creator created us all with a spirit, soul and body. We neglect the soul and spirit by spending too much time on the earthly suit. Some of us are psychologically minded and aware of a self beyond what we see. We are aware of our thoughts and emotions. We try and improve ourselves and train to be more human. This is good and many are becoming increasingly aware of our mental state. Mental illness is accepted now as a disorder like a physical disorder. Yet the stigma is still there because we are seen as weak if we share our struggle with our thoughts and emotions.

God is Spirit and He wants to commune with us. He does this through our spirit man. There is a whole world of the spirit that most of us reject because we do not see it. We want to sense our world because this is what makes sense and everything else is nonsense. Some of us have had our eyes opened to know that there is a spirit world and God is real. Jesus came to make us aware of His Father in Heaven so that we could also know Him. Now we realise that there is more to life than the earthly suit we live in. We are spirit beings on an earthly journey. God has come alive in us Christians and we live in the Spirit and walk by the Spirit. This is now the new reality. The old has passed away and the new has come. Come to Jesus and be saved and live in the new reality of life in the Spirit.

Who Is The Boss Of Your Life?

This is the question that will mark us for eternity. Jesus is Lord of all or not at all. There is no in-between position. In heaven, it is black or white. There is no grey position. In this world we live in, all is compromise. This is called a politically correct or socially acceptable position. We have to choose whose side we are on. There is no compromise in Jesus. His calling is clear. He came to be our Lord as well as our Saviour. He said, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Mark 8:34). Is there any compromise in this call?

However, when we look at Christians around us, it is difficult to separate those who follow Jesus from those who are of the world. In ethics and behaviour, Christians tend to follow the world rather than the other way round. Who has compromised with whom? Let your yes be yes and your no be no. There is no compromise in this. We only need to compromise to accommodate something lesser than what is expected. God gave us the Ten Commandments as instructions for good behaviour. We have broken every one of them. Now we can see the results in society of this failure.

What is the solution? We know that we are in the flesh and that the flesh is the enemy of our spirit. The spirit desires to do what is good but the flesh resists. Jesus came to be our Saviour and release us from the control of our flesh. He gave His life as a sacrifice for our sin. Now He asks us to make Him Lord of our life. This is not a one time decision. It is a daily taking up our cross and following Him. Why do we see many who having started well have now fallen and rejected Him? The flesh had taken over and deceived them and they compromised. The devil and the flesh conspire to work against us in our walk in the Spirit. When we confess Jesus as Lord then He takes over and fights our battles.

Today, don't look back. He says we are a new creation in Him (2 Cor 5:17). We must believe His words and follow Him. This is the only way to be victorious and stay the course to the end. We need to assume a warrior mentality and fight the good fight to the end. The Church needs to rise up and fight the present system of compromise and be light and salt. The battle is on but we know the end from the beginning. We win if we stay the course. Jesus won the battle on the Cross for us. He went all the way even to the point of saying to His Fathernot my will but Thine be done. We too must surrender our will and let Him be Lord.

Jesus Will Change Your Disorder Into Order.

Jesus came with the primary purpose to destroy the works of the devil. The main mission of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy. He does this through all the negativity we see in society today. He works through our negativity, namely negative thoughts and emotions, in order to steal, kill and destroy. He plants the seed of disorder in us when we give into temptation through pride, greed and envy. We give him a right to enter us and use us for his nefarious activities. What we see in society is a lot of good but also a lot of disorder and disease. God does not send disease and disorder. However the god of this world, Satan, does. This is why Jesus had to die to redeem mankind from the curse of the law.

To redeem is to set free. Jesus’ death provided the just sacrifice for the sin of man. Sin causes a lot of disorder and disease. The root of all sickness and disease is sin whether it be generational sin or personal sin. The consequences of sin all lead to death. Jesus came to reverse this curse of death and give us eternal life, which begins now and not after we die. This sounds a simple solution to the sin problem. Yet just as sin entered through a simple act of eating the forbidden fruit so also the crucifixion of Jesus was God's solution to redeem mankind through one act.

What will we do? Reject Him or receive Him and His salvation free of charge? Many still reject Him and choose to labour under the law. The devil deludes us into thinking that we can be redeemed through good works. The Bible says that our good works are like filthy rags to God. We can choose today to be free and have our disorders reversed through the blood of Jesus. I chose Jesus and now I enjoy His salvation and believe He is reversing my disorders  and setting me free.

How To Tap Into Your Resources In Heaven

Most of us operate as if our resources are finite on earth. This is true as the earth is limited by space and time. However, as born-again believers we are of another Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven. We are now just travelling through life on earth till we join our Father in Heaven. We know that we are citizens of Heaven, but we do not operate as if this is true. Why this gap in belief and behaviour? It is because we have been deceived through wrong teaching that has taught us we are limited. We allow the world's limited resources to limit us. God wants us to be heavenly minded. In Heaven, His resources are unlimited. How do we then tap into His resources in Heaven?

We should operate by faith in all areas of our life, in particular when it comes to material resources. We came to God by faith and believed His word and were saved.  We prosper through receiving by faith His word for healing and restoration and abundance. Now we have to apply faith for the provision of our material resources. There is an abundance of treasure to be  tapped into in Heaven. We sow down here into His Kingdom and reap from His riches in Heaven. On earth we tend to hold onto things. In Heaven, we give and sow to reap a harvest. The more we sow the more we reap. We do not sow to selfishly reap. Love gives. We sow because this is how it works in Heaven. God gave His Son and He is reaping a harvest of souls.

I have experienced that this works in my life. I marvel at the way God has led me all through these years and kept me in abundance because of applying this principle. The more we give the more will be the provision. God is no debtor. Will we trust Him to provide or will we hold on to what we have?. Step out in faith today and be rewarded.

Absolute Truth. Is There Such A Truth?

Jesus was faced with such a question by Pilate who asked Him, “What is truth?” (John 18:38). Truth in these days is relative. What is the place of absolute truth in a relative world? The devil asked Eve whether God indeed said that she shall not eat of every tree of the garden, which included the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17, 3:1). He sowed doubt and challenged Eve by such questions and tempted her to know the truth like God knows. Eve was tempted to eat the fruit so that she could be like God. The devil wanted to be like God and his pride led to his fall. The devil was jealous of God's creation of man and his mission was to attack and destroy man. He continues to do this through lies and subterfuge. Truth is now relative and absolute truth is a fantasy. So we live in a world where lies and fake news abound. What is the way out of this mess?

God sent Jesus to reveal the truth and save man from the lies of the devil, because He came to destroy the works of the devil. He did this by sacrificing His life to redeem man through His blood. This is the truth. Jesus said He is the Truth. His words and life are absolute truth. Now we can choose to believe this or reject it. Many have chosen to reject Him. Jesus challenged the Pharisees with the truth but they refused to believe Him. Pilate asked, “What is truth? We ask similar questions and Jesus’ reply is still the same: “I am the Truth

We have a choice now to believe Him who is the Truth or reject Him. Our choice will determine our destiny. Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through Him (John 14:6). This is the absolute truth. The devil is a liar. The devil is real and we can choose to listen to him and go to hell. Heaven awaits those who follow the Truth. Choose today whom you will follow and be assured of an eternity in heaven.

The Most Powerful Cleansing Agent In The World

Sin is real. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17). Sin now affects us as we carry the same evil spiritual “gene” that infiltrated Adam. There is no way to be cleansed from this “gene” but by the blood of Jesus. Jesus came as the second Adam to reverse the effects of the fall due to the sin of the first Adam. The blood of animal sacrifices was a temporary solution to sin as practiced in the Old Testament. The blood was painted on the lintel and door posts so that the destroyer passed over the homes of the children of Israel during the Passover (Exod 12:23). All these practices served to foretell the ultimate shedding of the blood of the Son of God, Jesus, on the Cross of Calvary. By the Cross, God has now made a better way to solve the sin problem which affects all of us. Satan was defeated on the Cross and now all he can do is harass us as a loser.

The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse us permanently. His blood avails much and continues to exert its power to cleanse because Jesus rose from the dead. His blood is alive and all those who call on Him to be saved can avail themselves of the power of His blood. His blood continues to heal and to deliver us from the torments of the devil. The devil hates the mention of His blood. We can resist the temptations of the devil through His blood. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus, and the word of their testimony ( Rev 12:11).

Come now and be washed and cleansed in His blood. We can overcome every challenge when we walk in the light as He is in the light. The devil works in darkness. The light of the world has come and we can overcome the devil and his tactics. The world is under the control of the devil at present but his end is nigh. This has been prophesied and he is unleashing all his weapons to destroy this world. We need to stand in the gap and pray the blood of Jesus over ourselves, our families and nations till He comes again. His blood saves us from all sin. Come now and be saved and be healed.

You’ve Got To Be Ruthless With The Enemy Of Your Soul

Since the fall, all nature is under the control of Satan. This is why we see so much chaos in the world. The enemy infiltrates every area of our lives, for he seeks to steal, kill and destroy. Those who have spiritual eyes can see beyond the superficial. We humans get trapped in his evil design and fight each other rather than love each other. God has always planned that we should love each other. The enemy turned this around to hate and fear. Now Jesus came to redeem us from the wicked ways of the enemy by destroying his works. He did this by sacrificing His life on the Cross. This was the solution that could reverse the plans of the enemy. However although we were redeemed from the curse in our spirit, our soul still faces enemies that we need to fight daily in our lives. This is where we need to know who our enemy is and how to fight him.

Most are unaware that the real enemy of our soul is Satan. He hides behind a curtain and manipulates people to do his dirty works. He does not fight fair. We therefore must be ruthless with the enemy. God has provided us with the way of escape. His Name is Jesus. He will fight for us if we let Him. God has given us free will to decide who we will choose to follow. We follow our carnal desires or God. We are saved to be free from sin and the power of sin. But our members are not totally free from our sinful ways and desires. The enemy finds ways to tempt us and keep us captive to his ways. What can we do?

We can surrender our members to Jesus. His Holy Spirit resides in our spirit. His angels fight for us. We need to surrender our will to Him. He then fights for us. We are empowered to fight the enemy of our soul and cast him out. We have to be ruthless with our body and mind in choosing His way rather than our way. We are in a war and the war is against the enemy of our soul. God has provided us with a way of escape. Will we choose His way? Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through Him. Choose today God's way and be free from the enemy of your soul.

Lesson Learnt From The Sale Of My Car

I own a MG 120 TF  convertible sports car which I have had for 11 years. It has been my weekend car and used mainly for pleasure. However over the years I have had various mechanical problems with it, especially in over-heating. I had it seen by three mechanics who, to date, have not been able to solve the problem. I decided to put it on sale a year ago without much success. This year I decided to drop the price and had one young buyer. He saw the car and decided he wanted it. I was not too sure if it was wise for him to use it for everyday use. However he was adamant about buying it and I was relieved to sell it. The car did not get him home because it over heated. So the sale was cancelled and the car taken to the garage for further repairs.

Reflecting on the whole experience, I thought I would share some insights. The car looks beautiful and has spent most of its life under cover in a garage. I have seen it as my pride and joy despite all the repairs and expenses over the years. We have had some miraculous escapes and experiences together. However the outside did not match the inside. The inside was still troubled. We too can look good on the outside but the true test is how do we look on the inside. Character is what makes the difference between survival and trouble. God was teaching me that all that looks good on the outside may not be so on the inside. How much time do we spend on projecting a nice image but we are struggling inside with torment. What if others could see our inside and not just the handsome outside?

God is after a relationship with us which is full of faith and trust in Him. There are no short cuts. We are either for Him or against Him. Superficial relationships to please people will not last in times of stress. We need to regularly spend time with Him in fellowship to build up our inner selves. What proportion of our time do we spend in intimate communion with Him?. Will He say I know you and you are mine, good and faithful child?. I think the young man was taken up by the looks of the car and soon realised he had bought a lemon. Let us grow in our character by spending time with Jesus so that we can last the distance.

Revelation Leads To Transformation.

God reveals His mind to His followers. The Bible is the written word of God. God has revealed His plans and thoughts to His people. He has revealed His commands that need to be obeyed in order to live a righteous life. This revelation needs to be received for it to be effectual. Many reject His word and therefore suffer the consequences. God also reveals His mind through His servants, the prophets. Jesus is the revelation of God Himself in the flesh. The Word became flesh and dwelt amongst men (John 1:14)Jesus’ coming was foretold in the Old Testament and revealed in the New. Those who knew waited for His coming and received Him with joy. Others feared and like Herod tried to kill Him.  What are we going to do with Him?

We can choose to receive Him by inviting Him into our hearts or ignore Him. We ignore Him to our detriment and loss. He has promised us eternal life but we often choose a carnal life through rejecting Him. God has given us free will to choose. He created us in His image with a free will. Adam chose to disobey and so suffered the consequence of the curse of rejection. Now Jesus came to redeem us from every curse. Yet we still reject Him. The revelation of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Open your hearts and receive this revelation and be saved. Now is the time for the sons of God to be revealed. The whole earth is groaning in pain for this revelation. Let us rise up in faith and take our place and establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
